Gate Opening Types
Swing Opening Gates
Swing gates are one of the most popular type of gates installed by our team. They can be installed in either single or double leaf and will depend on the size of the opening and the style desired. However the sliding gate system is worth serious consideration for extra security and durability.
All swing gates—whether in steel or timber are generally manufactured and made to order within our design studio and within our workshop. We feel that this eliminates issues caused by miss communication and any problems can be resolved as soon as possible with minimal disruption.
Sliding Gates
Sliding gates offer an extremely reliable high security gate when installed correctly. This type of gate slides sideways allowing the gate to fit into smaller spaces where space may be an issue due to car parking or surroundings. This type of gate can also be designed to look like a pair of gates.
If you require a gate to cover a wider opening a sliding gate would be the ideal solution can be produced to very wide dimentions. Another pro is that the sliding gate would only require one gate motor to operate therfore saving money and minimsing the likelyhood of a breakdown.
Cantilever Opening Gates
Cantilever sliding gate solutions do not require a track on the ground. This can solve certain problems where the driveway entrance slopes or is uneven, or perhaps a heavy traffic entrance.
Our Cantilever gates have a rail at the bottom incorporating two sets of enclosed wheels to guide the gate smoothly. At one end of the Cantilever gate is a slam post assembly which stops the gate to ensure that the gate cannot continue to slide. The gate then retracks into the guide post.
